the rambo syndrome

i had the misfortune to go to Gamestop and buy Skate 2. great game. great. the culmination of the very reason i bought playstation 1, xbox, and xbox 360. but the bad part was the nice kid there talked me out of 10 bucks for a year of the game informer magazine. this mag is so nerdy it should come with some shit nerds like. like a box of candy nerds? i don't know. i am not a fucking dweeb so could not tell you. but every game and ad is for these, " i am alone in a asylum/ run down city full of zombies/ war torn zone/ ect) and i have to SHOOT my way out. all these kids todya alone in their dark bedrooms honing thier killing and sniper skills. learning wtih each and every level of every game. Killing solves all my problems! think of tens of thousands of young men who don't play sports really, and thier friends also love FPS FIRST person Shooters! add that with the music that has come out in thier lifetime. god. help us all. i don't really know why these are the only games that are super uber popular. but i hate them. they irritate me. ohh, you got FRAGGED man! haha. this really blurs the line for me. spend all your time practicing seeing life as disposable and violence as a coping tool. good job america. momma would be proud.

well i am not new to writing or blogging. just this site. i hope to make some memorable posts in the near future. i was into zines and article wirting and collage and a bunch of other stuff. my wife said, you should focus your efforts. my friend Dana from the dog parks said, you should blog. i told her. ugh, i have had bad luck with it. have you heard of Dooced ? my wife is against it in a very luddite and weird way. the thing is i write to express myself. the whole thing with blogging is you want people to see what you write and think you are witty and cool and whatnot. well, i will jsut write. and let the chips fall where they may. the title is a Clash song reference. Joe strummer is one of my heroes. along with Sir Issac Newton, natas kaupas, mayor Mcheese, Mat Hoffman, ect.
